The MAX5 360-degree Chimney Inspection Camear Kit for the GoPro MAX is a purpose-built housing designed to withstand the demands of chimney, hearth, HVAC, and confined-space inspections. Created by inspectors for inspectors, it provides robust protection for your camera while allowing you to capture immersive 360° footage that reveals critical details in hard-to-access spaces.
The MAX5 connects directly with industry-standard buttonlock rod systems (AW Perkins/RodTech USA, Snaplok, RodStation), ensuring smooth integration into professional workflows. A built-in set-screw port makes it possible to run a CAT6 cable to extend Wi-Fi range, offering reliable connectivity in environments where signal strength is often compromised. This flexibility allows for both real-time monitoring and thorough post-inspection review.
Every kit ships pre-assembled for quick deployment, with an option to have the GoPro MAX camera installed before shipping. Designed for efficiency, accuracy, and durability, the MAX5 empowers inspection professionals to produce consistent, defensible, and professional-grade results.

- This does NOT include a GoPro subscription (if desired). A GoPro subscription gives you unlimited online storage at GoPro.com to house and store your images and videos if you turn on the auto-upload feature on the camera.
- The housing fits the larger buttonlock rods produced by the standard rod manufacturers in the industry (AW Perkins/RodTech USA, Snaplok, RodStation).
- To preview your inspection live you will be required to download the Quik app produced by GoPro from the app store.
- Instructions for full assembly and prep for use are included. The kit comes pre-assembled to the extent possible and prudent so that you have the least amount of work to put everything together. If you order the camera with the kit we will install it into the housing for you.
- Be aware that the GoPro MAX uses WIFI to connect to your device and allow for live preview. You can film and take 360 videos and photos independent of live preview and review them after the fact. Be aware that we cannot control or guarantee WIFI connectivity in your area and connection strength will vary based on the construction materials used in and around the chimney.
