Step 1: Complete Your Company & Technician Information
Now that you’ve purchased your InspectionFire Precision Plan subscription, it’s time to set up your company account.
Click the button below to complete the setup form. You will only need to complete the form once for the main account administrator or primary technician.
What you’ll need:
- Company name
- Company contact information
- Main administrator/technician’s full name
- Main administrator/technician’s email address
- Main administrator/technician’s credentials (if applicable)
- Decide whether you’d like to use InspectionFire’s pre-written report language or create your own custom language
Additional Technicians
After submitting the setup form, email the following information for each additional technician to [email protected]:
- Technician’s full name
- Technician’s email address
- Technician’s credentials (if applicable)
Each technician will receive their own login credentials and password setup email once the account has been configured.
Want your company logo on your reports?
Email your logo as an image file to [email protected]. We’ll add it to your account during the setup process.
Once you’ve submitted the form and, if applicable, emailed your logo, we’ll begin setting up your account and notify you as soon as it’s ready.
Step 2: Create User Password
Once your company account has been set up, each user will receive an email inviting them to create their own password.
Click the link in the email and follow the prompts to create your password.
Tip: If you don’t see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. If you still haven’t received it, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
Step 3: Download the InspectionFire App
Now it’s time for each technician to download the InspectionFire app to their mobile device.
Use the appropriate button below to download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 4: Sign In to the App
Open the app and log in using the email address provided during account setup and the password created in Step 2.
Each technician should sign in using their own email address and password. This ensures inspections are properly assigned to the correct user and that technician information is displayed correctly on reports.
Having trouble signing in? Double-check that you’re using the same email address you provided on your setup form. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password option on the login screen or contact us for assistance.
Step 5: Configure Your App Settings
Before starting your first inspection, each technician should configure a few recommended settings. These options help ensure photos are saved, reports sync properly, and the app performs as expected in the field.
To enable the recommended settings:
- Tap the More tab.
- Select Settings.
- Turn on the following options:
- Show Form Folders
- Save Images to Photos
- Save to Cloud
- Auto Sync
Recommended: Once you’ve enabled these settings, return to the Forms tab and tap the Resync button (the two arrows forming a circle in the top-right corner).
Step 6: Verify Your Company & Technician Information
Before completing your first inspection, each technician should verify that their company and technician information is displaying correctly on their inspection form.
Open one of your inspection forms and confirm that all of the information entered during the setup process has been applied correctly.
Verify the following:
- Company name
- Company contact information
- Company logo link(if applicable)
- Technician name
- Technician credentials
- Report language preferences
If any of the information is missing or incorrect, please contact us before completing your first inspection so we can make any necessary updates to your account.
Step 7: Start Your First Inspection
Congratulations! Your InspectionFire Precision account is now fully configured and your team is ready to begin inspecting.
Each technician can open the appropriate inspection form and begin creating professional inspection reports. As you work, you’ll be able to capture photos, document findings, add notes, collect signatures, and generate polished reports—all from within the app.
Recommended: Before taking the app into the field, have each technician complete a few practice reports to become familiar with the app’s layout, features, and workflow. This helps ensure a smoother experience during your first customer inspection.
